we finally got our Tim Holtz markers so I have been playing with them. I did these two cards using Tim Holtz markers, ink and paper. the blue one looks cockeyed, but it's just the way I cropped it. (truly it is straight; ) the yellow one I made for my niece's bday on May 3rd, and Happy bday is stamped on the bottom but it looks like I cut it off when I cropped it. (hopefully I'll get better at that.) for this one I used the markers directly on the stamp and it worked quite well. for the blue card I stamped the image then colored it, I then used the ink to cover the whole image and give it a bit of an antique look. I dipped the white ribbon in the corresponding ink to have it match the flowers, I am entering them in the following challenges.

Cool cards. Is the stamp for the second card one of your ones that you got in Arizona?
ReplyDeleteyes it is. this is the smaller of the two I got. I stamped it, then colored it, then scanned it larger. used the scanned image as a template and cut out the border behind the stamped image. worked out okay. the stamp itself is really nice, stamps easy and it's all foam on top. stamps are by la Blanche
