Ribbon card 2 - thank you

I made this card using my impressionabilities plate. I thought this was the most useless thing I ever bought it has not worked for me from day one. so I used it for a different purpose. I inked the plate, then carefully taped it on my paper, then I used my markers to color in the butterflies and flowers, then ran it through my big shot, and voila, it gives a batik effect. I died the ribbon to match the green used to ink the plate.. I'm entering this in the ribbon contest for the SOS challenge.

  1. It really does look batik! Such a pretty effect. And the bow is just the perfect touch to "tie" it all together. Love that you hand-dyed it. Awesome!

Thank you for playing along with us this week at Shopping Our Stash.

  2. Dyed ribbon! There you go! And yeah, I've not used my one impressions plate, either. This sounds like work. :)

  4. Dyed ribbon? You mean we don't have to buy ribbon in all the colors? LOL! Very pretty card! Thanks for joining us at SOS!
