I stole this card from a magazine Deena had, theirs was not a Christmas card, but I had the poinsettas, so I made mine a Christmas one.

this is a vey simple card, just a 9x 11 sheet of cardstock folded, the christmas trees hold the overlapped edge in place.

this little card is made with a dryer sheet. I stamped the white cardstock, covered the cardstock with a sheet of sookwang sticky paper, stuck the dryer sheet to the cardstock, then carefully ran it through the cuttlebug again with the embossing folder, then applied glitter. the glitter attaches to the dryer sheet and makes it look like snow..after checking the opus gluei website, I think I will enter it in their get frosted challenge.

this is a new technique for me, shown on splitcoaststampers. the stamped image is covered with sookwang tacky paper, then a used dryer sheet is laid over top, then it is dipped in glitter.

I have no idea why this picture went sideways or how to correct it, but the bow should be at the bottom

here are the three cards I completed today. I did the coloring with stampin up markers. then used my nestabilities to make the frames and voila.

#252 Man's bday card

I started making this birthday card for my sister, but decided it was starting to look too masculine. I wanted to use the new Tim Holtz fragments I had, but there was just nothing feminine about the card. Then Deena said, the opus gluei challenge is for a male card, so here it is, I'm entering it in this weeks challenge.

I stamped the bird and branch on beige paper with staz on ink, cut to the approximate size of the rectangle tile. then adhered the stamp to the tile with glossy ellements, and trimmed excess., the bamboo was embossed with the cuttlebug and then I used sandpaper to bring out the white core.. the tiles were adhered to the card with glossy ellements.

I did these little boxes to give as gifts to my knitting buddies for Christmas. they are done on the cricut and turn out so nice.

I punched out 25 poinsettas today, some for a friend. I have to count everything as I'm getting desperate. I also made a couple more Christmas cards. I will post them later after I take a picture of them. I'll be hard pressed to make the 365 as I can't take my card stuff to Arizona this year so I really only had 8 months to complete the mission, so if I do a quick calculation, I really only need to do about 240. I may be able to do that...It would still qualify as one a day.......

well, these are the cards I've come up with for our card night. I'm counting this as 26, no tags yet, but that's my next project. on the snowman, the snowflake has micro beads and the poinsetta is made with my new punch.
